Welcome to BlueCare TennesseeSM(BlueCareSM and TennCareSelect.) Our goals are to:

  • Make it easy for you to use the benefits in your plan.
  • Help you find high-quality health care.
  • Understand your health care needs.
  • Advise you on good choices about your medical and behavioral health.

Our New Member Welcome Program helps you get to know us.

We will send you:
  • A Member ID Card that you must show to use your benefits. Each member will get a plastic identification (ID) card when he or she enrolls.

    This is a sample ID card. You or your family members' cards may have different information, depending on your plan.

    If your ID card is lost or stolen, call Customer Service. BlueCare members call 1-800-468-9698. TennCareSelect members call 1-800-263-5479.
  • A New Member Welcome Packet that includes:
    • A Member Handbook to tell you all that your plan offers.
    • An Important Phone Numbers Magnet so that you always the right information to contact us.
    • Brochures on behavioral health care, services that keep your child healthy, and more.
    • The Finding a Health Care Provider Postcard to fill out and mail in to get a list of providers (doctors, hospitals, drugstores). Hint: It's easier and faster to look providers up online. See below.
  • A New Member Welcome Phone Call to give you information on using your plan. We will also ask you some questions about your health. Your answers will tell us ways that we may help you keep yourself and your family healthy.
