Sometimes you need to view someone else’s plan information. It could be your child or someone you make health care decisions for. Or maybe you want to share your info with someone else. Here’s what you need to know about viewing and sharing online accounts.

Personal Representatives

I'm Representing a Member

A personal representative (PR) can legally make health care decisions for a member. You don't need to be a member to be a PR. You might be a parent or legal guardian. If you would like to have online access to a member's account as their PR, we need to check your PR status first. Then you can set up an account and link it to theirs.

Here are a few things you need to have ready when you ask for a PR account:

  • The Member ID card for the member you represent
  • Documents that show you're allowed to make health care decisions for this member

These documents could be:

  • Birth or death certificate
  • Legal documents that prove you represent a member and can make health care decisions for them
  • Court orders
  • Other supporting documents
